AMVital Turmeric Lemon Scrub Shower Gel
An exfoliating body wash for rough, bumpy skin and uneven-looking tone — cleanser and scrub in one shower step. AMVital Turmeric Lemon Scrub Shower Gel is a 2-in-1 turmeric body wash that cleanses while biodegradable pecan shell powder gently polishes away dead surface skin, leaving body skin feeling smoother and looking brighter and more even after rinsing. It is built for the areas a plain body wash never really changes — backs of arms, knees, elbows, legs, and heels.
- 2-in-1 exfoliating body wash and gentle scrub shower gel
- Made for rough, bumpy, dull-looking body skin and uneven-looking tone
- Biodegradable pecan shell powder — no plastic microbeads
- Made with turmeric, lemon, pecan shell powder, coconut oil, and lemongrass
- Use 2–3 times per week, not daily — pump bottle, rinses clean
Why a regular body wash doesn't change rough skin
Most body washes only clean the surface. They lift away sweat and oil, but they leave the layer of dead surface cells that makes skin feel sandpapery and look dull and patchy — especially on the backs of the arms, knees, and elbows, where skin is thicker and takes constant friction from clothing. Adding gentle physical exfoliation to the wash step clears that buildup so the skin underneath catches light evenly again. Doing it in the shower, in one step, is the reason people actually keep it up — the routines that work are the ones that do not add a step.
Where to use it
- Backs of arms — bumpy, sandpaper-feeling texture; the most common reason people reach for this.
- Knees and elbows — thick, dry, ashy-looking patches.
- Legs — dull, flaky-looking skin, especially between shaves.
- Heels and feet — hardened, dry-looking skin.
- Chest, shoulders, and back — areas that look congested or uneven.
Body only. Do not use on the face, intimate areas, broken skin, or freshly shaved skin.
What's inside
Turmeric is the ingredient AMVital is built around — here it supports a brighter-looking, more even-looking finish over time alongside the polish rather than instead of it. Lemon and lemongrass give the gel its fresh, clean scent. Pecan shell powder does the physical exfoliation: it is a biodegradable byproduct of the pecan harvest, so nothing plastic goes down your drain. Coconut oil cushions the formula so skin feels conditioned and comfortable after rinsing instead of stripped and tight. No hydroquinone, no bleaching agents, no steroids.
Which skin types it suits
- Rough, bumpy, or dry-feeling body skin — the core use case.
- Melanin-rich skin — no bleaching agents; exfoliation is the whole mechanism.
- Sensitive skin — workable at 1–2 times per week with light pressure. Patch test on a small area first.
- Anyone who shaves or waxes — helps keep skin smooth between sessions, but wait at least 24 hours after hair removal.
How to use
Pump onto damp body skin in the shower, massage gently in circular motions for 30–60 seconds per area, then rinse thoroughly. Use 2–3 times per week on non-consecutive days; on other days, wash as usual. If you have sensitive skin, start at 1–2 times per week with light pressure. Let the scrub do the work — pressing harder does not exfoliate more, it just irritates. Moisturize while skin is still damp, and use sunscreen on any exposed area during the day.
How it fits your routine
Use this as your wash-and-polish step, then moisturize. For targeted work on underarms and inner thighs, the thicker Turmeric Body Scrub is the better tool — many people use the shower gel 2–3 times a week all over and the scrub on problem areas. Good to know
- Will it stain? Turmeric can temporarily tint very light towels and washcloths — rinse thoroughly and use a darker towel for the first few uses. It rinses off tile and tubs with normal cleaning.
- How long until I see a difference? Skin usually feels smoother from the first wash. Changes in how even the area looks are gradual and depend on consistency, sun protection, and your full routine. Results vary from person to person.
- Not after shaving. Wait at least 24 hours — freshly shaved skin exfoliates far too easily.
- Not daily. Over-exfoliating leaves skin tight, red, and more sensitive, not smoother. Two to three times a week is the sweet spot.
- Storage: keep the pump closed and store upright; shake gently if the scrub particles settle.
